RE: Coffee Medical Center Project, 1984-1987
Dear Phillip:
I am not the least bit surprised to hear of your continued successes and international renown since the above project and I take this opportunity to tell you why.
From the moment I first met with you to discuss the Coffee Medical Center project, I was convinced you were the right person for the job. I have never been proven more correct. The multi-year project you undertook to revitalize the hospital and bring it up-to-date with sleek, modern lines, custom cabinetry and woodwork had a truly magical effect.
The attentiveness to detail that you displayed, even to the point of custom design and fabrication of the least detail of the Central Nursing Station, was beyond anything we could have hoped for in our community hospital. Your uncompromising craftsmanship, fair pricing, excellent client relations were matchless and your personal attention to detail was evident in every inch of the project from start to finish. The final product exceeded all our expectations and contributed immensely to restoring the community's pride in its hospital. Perhaps as important, CMC's modern "new look" was equally as successful in our efforts to restore the hospital's competitiveness with a newer but much less lovingly constructed competitor.
Since then you and your firm have moved from success to success, involving much larger clients and culminating in international recognition for projects executed by Cohen Architectural Woodworking. Again, I am not surprised. But I truly want to take this opportunity to say, to you and to your entire team: "Well done"; and to you personally: "Well deserved."
Should I ever have need for expert woodworking services in the future, I know exactly where to turn and can only hope that your busy schedule will allow you to accommodate my project.
Sincerely,

Lewis M. Mashburn III, FACHE
Former CEO and Administrator, Coffee Medical Center
Note from Phillip: Coffee Medical Center was our first commercial cabinet project, which kept us busy full time, for three years. This project was our springboard to commercial cabinetry. Lew Mashburn was a great leader to work under. I'm thankful for the many people who helped us become what we are today. Without them, we could not have made it. Thanks, Lew. And thank you to everyone else who has helped us succeed.

Mr. Phillip Cohen of New Dimensions recently constructed a 2-person patient education/consultation booth for Colonial Village Pharmacy. Mr. Cohen was very involved during the design process, contributing valuable insight to improve the original concept. Mr. Cohen's extensive experience in the manufacture of retail fixtures was often called upon in the development of the prototype booth.
On-site consultation and installation of the booth resulted in an elegant and functional design which should provide many years of trouble-free use.
Mr. Cohen's expertise and engaging personality made this project flow smoothly and effortlessly. I recommend Mr. Cohen's firm for any remodeling or fixturing project.

To whom it concerns,
I want to write this letter in benefit of Mr. Phillip Cohen at the Country Woodshop. He was a major part in my new office building by doing all the woodwork we use each day. The quality was by far better than any I have seen. We get complements daily about the beautiful appearance of the shelves, cabinets, and chart holders. I cannot say enough good things about the work. He also got everything to my builder on schedule which is a big issue to me.
Another point I want to stress is the fairness of Phillip's fees. My office was heading for a big cost increase until we talked to Phillip. I was able to do all the woodwork needed since he was so fair. That is something I will always be thankful for.
As you can tell, I am very happy with Phillip's work. I recommend him to anyone needing good quality work done on time. If you have any questions of me, please call. I know you will be pleased with him as a professional and person.
Sincerely,

Rolla, Missouri
Dear Owner:
It is with great honor and respect that I recommend Cohen Woodworking. I am the senior pastor of NorthGate Church in Rolla, Missouri. I am also an engineer and an owner of Integrity Engineering, Inc. of Rolla, which is an architectural/engineering firm that designs church, commercial, industrial, government and residential facilities. My company has had the opportunity to be involved with a number of woodworking projects through the years.
When the exposed steel handrails and risers of the main foyer balcony and stairway at NothGate Church needed to be wrapped in maple we faced a challenge. The project required much detailing with an extensive number of joints, angles and sculpturing. Not only was this a large task, but it had to be accomplished within thirty days for the dedication of our building.
There were a limited number of persons whom we found willing to tackle such a challenge. The prices quoted were astronomical. In addition, those that did provide quotes stated that they would need thirty to sixty consecutive days to finish the work.
We were then introduced to Cohen Woodworking. They accomplished the work in a two-week period along with the assistance of some of our church members. They proved outstanding workmanship, professionalism and quality. Their work is one of the showpieces of our entire church complex.
Not only did Cohen Woodworking perform work in the Grand Foyer of the church, they also custom built the cabinetry in the Pastor's office suite area, including office and restroom furniture.
I have the utmost confidence that Cohen Woodworking can accomplish any woodworking project that is presented to them with the same care, professionalism and quality that we experienced with them. Without reservation, I recommend them as one of the best woodworking, furniture and cabinetry businesses we have been involved with.
Sincerely,
Senior Pastor

West Plains, Missouri
We had been offering orthopedic services to patients in a very cramped space of only 2169 square feet since August of 1999. Our practice had grown so fast and quickly that we were having difficulty seeing patients in a timely and comfortable manner. It became very apparent that we needed more space. Plans were made for expansion during the last quarter of 2002. Our cabinetry bid was awarded to Phillip Cohen from Summersville, Missouri.
I feel that we could not have made this award to a more qualified individual. The work done was timely and confidently. Changes in plans that had to be made were discussed beforehand and agreed upon by all decision making persons. Mr. Cohen kept me informed of any and every possible delay when they occurred. He and his family worked with my staff to be sure that none of our patients were inconvenienced by working around our clinic schedule even if it meant working some late evenings. The carpenters were always polite and easy to work around.
The Cohen's made sure that we were happy with their work before they left and made a follow-up visit to be sure that the work was done to our satisfaction. The job site was always clean and tidy when they left. I can recommend their work with confidence and without hesitation.

We wish you success in your efforts to attain new work and will be happy to speak personally with those who whish to ask specific questions.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased we are with our reception desk and end table which were custom designed and built by Phillip and Mary Cohen. It is amazing to us that they took a very basic idea of what we needed and created such beautiful pieces. All the while coordinating their ideas with our flooring and decor as the building was being finished.
We truly didn't know exactly what the end result of our basic ideas would be. Their communication with us combined with their craftsmanship, custom design and innovative materials gave us more than we ever could have imagined.
We have seen nothing that compares and receive compliments from our customers.
We highly recommend their quality work!
Thank you,

Phillip:
I am writing you to thank you for the excellent customer service that
our organization received from you earlier in the month. I have
enjoyed great service from your company in the past but this event was
truly above and beyond what I had expected. Not only did a
representative show up a day after I had placed the call for service
but he was more than willing to commit to a two day turnaround time
on the job.
I had fully expected him to think that I was not in my senses when I asked if the work could be completed in two days but he made a few calls and said that he would make it happen. It is instances like these that truly make your company wonderful to work with. Thank you and your crew very much.
